We are so saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. Our sincere condolences to Cathy and the entire Currie Family. Maureen and I last saw Wayne & Cathy in 2017; they insisted that we stay with them on our visit to Halifax and were such gracious hosts. In May of 2010, Wayne, Cathy, Eric & Jean made the extremely long drive (13 hours straight) from Halifax to Barrie, ON., to honour the passing of my mother, Jean Doris O'Reilly (she was Wayne & Eric's Aunt). Mom was very close to the Currie Family and to have these four come all that way on short notice, was an incredible gesture that my brother Steve and I will never forget! Wayne & Cathy came to our home in Calgary the last time they were out West (about 2008); it was so great to see them. Over the many years, the Curries & O'Reillys didn't let this huge country keep us apart and enjoyed several special Family gatherings along the way. On behalf of Steve & Wendy O'Reilly of Innisfil, ON and Dave & Maureen O'Reilly in Calgary, AB, we say a heartfelt goodbye to our Cousin Wayne, a very special and kind man.
