Dear Bobby, Crystal, Violet and family,
Beautiful obituary and beautiful picture. Our Thelma has not changed since the day we first met her. And we were blessed to have her as our nannie for 7 years until we moved to Israel and then to visit her whenever we came to Halifax. We even all went bowling! Yes, Thelma always won! There are no words for our sadness. We loved Thelma as a member of our family, and we knew that she loved us. I learned how to be a parent by watching her parent. No matter how busy she was, she always had time to have fun with the children. And she loved and was so proud of all of you. She always had a smile on her face, always had only good to say about anyone and she gave me the gift of never having to worry when she was around. We are grateful now that she is not suffering and is in a better place with the rest of the family. We will miss her deeply and love her dearly. She was the essence of everything good. We hope that the beautiful memories that you have will bring you all comfort in the days ahead. If there is a video of the service, we would like very much to see it. Sending you all much love, Batya ( Wendy) Mark, Benjamin, Aaron and Shayna Ludman
