Irene was known to us as a staunch member of St Luke’s Anglican where she sang in a beautiful alto voice. We miss her very much. Condolences to her whole family.

Michele, Paula, Breton, Jenn and extended family, I'm so sorry to hear about Irene. I have great memories of her and your family from when your Dad and I traveled the island and chased every mackerel in Mira Bay. She and Jim were each other's biggest fan and I hope you can take comfort in knowing that they are together again.

Michele, Paula, Breton, and families;
We are so sorry for the loss of a precious soul who meant so much to her friends and her community. Irene was surrounded by a family who loved her dearly and tended to her with great care.She always had a smile and kind words of greeting. It was a pleasure to converse with her at whatever village function we happened to attend. She was a wonderful cadet leader. Adam and Beth both thought very highly of her during their years in cadets. At such a difficult time of year, when sorrows are compounded by the season, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. “Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day.”
Sincere sympathy,
Eileen and Harry Martin

I was very saddened to learn of the passing of my “sister “ Irene. She fit into our family like another daughter and sister. I have many wonderful memories of growing up with her. At the same moment a voice uttered the words “she’s gone” another voice joyously said “ here she comes now “. The welcoming committee that greeted her was large. She is no longer in pain. Rest easy Irene. I hope there’s a scrabble board in heaven. I will look forward to that. My sincere condolences to all of the family. Losing a mother is the hardest thing. I so know that.
