My dear cousin Barbara. A free spirit, who lived her life to the fullest, her way. A joy to be around. When Barbara enter a room you knew the party had started. This country boy, who was amazed when visiting at Aunt Jennie's home on Fenwick St. and watched Barb stand on one foot and touch the ceiling with the other foot, my introduction to ballet.
Warm, caring, she always made a effort to attend special occasions, such as my dad's 90 Birthday. Having no sense of direction, she usually showed up late and made a grand entrance. To many, Barbara will be missed, to hear her special laugh no more will be sad. Bless you Barbara, I hope you'll still dance under a blue moon.

I first met Barb back in 1983 when my husband Bruce became the minister at the Unitarian Universalist church in Halifax. Barb was akways so warm welcoming and quick with a smile and compliment. She was certainly a pleasure to know. Sending my love to her friends and family. SHE WAS QUITE THE CHARACTER !

I have known Barb for many year because we were both members of the Unitarian Church. I haven't seen Barb for a few years, and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to Barb's family. Barb was quite the character and a very generous person. I am surprised there isn't an obituary for her. When is her funeral and where?

My condolences goes out to the family. Barbara was always the life of the parties we had at the Waterton in Halifax. She so enjoyed dressing up and had a great sense of humor and made us all feel joy when we were in her company. Everyone loved her.
