To George’s Family,
It’s with great sadness to hear of George’s passing. I was a student in his Industrial mechanical course in 2013-14. No matter who you were, he was always there for you, to lend a helping hand or to encourage you to give it your best shot to try, no matter the outcome. He made you believe that you were capable even if you didn’t.
He was one of a kind. The kind of person you just want to sit and hear the stories he could tell, and he had a few. Our class labelled him ” The Legend”, and he truly was, and still is me and our class.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. I’ll always look back fondly on what George distilled in me and cherish it.
It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.
