Obituary of Robert William Jeffery

JEFFERY, Robert William, Age 69, Halifax. It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert William Jeffery, who passed away peacefully on November 11th, 2022, at the QEII VG Hospital. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the son of William and Florence (Benson) Jeffery. Robert graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School and then obtained a degree in electronics in Yarmouth, NS. Robert worked as a service technician for 45 years, retiring from Xtra Document Solutions in 2020. Robert enjoyed playing his guitar and jamming with the boys. He also enjoyed time down at the cottage where he spent a lot of time fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter. Robert was into ham radios, photography, he was a gun enthusiast and loved to travel. He will be missed by so many. Predeceased by his parents, William and Florence (Benson) Jeffery. Robert is survived by his wife, Sheri (Edmonds) Jeffery of 44 years; daughter, Krista Jeffery; brother, Bruce Jeffery; and sister, Joy Fennell. Special thanks to the Palliative Care team of 7A, VG site for their exceptional care and kindness they provided for Robert to make his stay comfortable. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
