My deepest condolences to the passing of Bob, though I had only seen him a few times in the last twenty years I have nothing but fond and fun memories. Whenever I hear or even think of 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' it gives me a great vision of Bob embracing his Strat....... a great guy he surely was.

So sorry to hear of Robert's (Gobb's) passing. Deborah and I would like to send our sincere condolences to you and your family during this time of sorrow. Gobb was a good friend. We spent countless hours in the woods fishing, hunting with Pat and Phil, fooling around with CB and Ham Radio and jam sessions with Gobb, Phil, and Tom (Gryndl) in the Grandy basement. In later years, Gobb met my wife, Deborah, at Maritime Medical Care where he serviced their equipment and kept the operation running smoothly. Gobb will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Deborah and Rod Fitzpatrick (another Liverpool Street boy)

To Sheri, Krista and the entire family, Rob was a good man taken too soon. We all loved Rob with his kind ways and gentle personality. But he was lots of fun too. We had so many great laughs and jokes with him. Some were at his expense but he didn’t mind. Been friends for over 40 years. Bob was like a father to me during my adolescence - the western father that took my picture before a date and allowed Krista and I the freedom to figure out who we were. He wasn't always chatty, but he always had a real warmth about him. I will miss you so much Bob. Thank you for everything

When we first moved in next door, Bob had this big antenna outside. Of course, I was curious and asked what it was for - he said to talk to folks from all over. I found that so incredibly interesting. He was a very friendly man. We are so blessed to have such great neighbours.
