Dear Tara, Debbie and Guillaume, we are deeply saddened at Steve’s passing. He taught me to repair drywall in thin layers, he doted on your dogs and fed them many treats and he loved you so dearly. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family. I knew Steve from his days volunteering with the 250 Lions Air Cadets at Stadicona, in the late 60's into the early 1970's. He was certainly one of the best instructors who I have the fondest memories of. If he ever mentioned having his hair caught on fire while on a bus trip, I may know something about that. He took it better than most people would. I only have good memories of Steve, spending a lot of it at the rifle range with him. I am sure that he will be missed greatly. He was a great friend to many of the cadets.

Romano and I are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He truly was always there to lend a helping hand or provide advice on the many "Scattolon projects", that included building fences to adding additions to a home. Steve was a steadfast friend for many, many years...he was Victoria's friend from the moment she was born...Victoria and Steve's mother shared a birthday, yet Steve always made time on that day to visit Victoria to wish her happy birthday...this past December in the midst of his treatment and at the height of Omicron, he drove to our house so he could wish Victoria Happy Biirthday from the driveway while she stood on the front step.
