Dear Peter, Elizabeth, and Karla,
We have had the privilege of knowing Helga for 24 years through her love of horses. Helga was a committed volunteer to the therapeutic riding programme. Her no-nonsense, but unassuming approach accomplished so much for the Lancers community. She was a tremendous supporter of the fundraising events, and we remember when she turned up at our first garden party and silent auction 22 years ago with a riding boot to receive donations: at the end of the event the boot was filled! Helga was a great support to all the children and young adult riders, none more so than Megan. We hold her dear to our hearts and she will be sorely missed.
