Dear Janice and Ryan: Our condolences on the loss of an amazing husband and father. We share in your loss today. Although distance kept us all apart you were always near in heart. My deepest condolences to Janice and family. I worked with Jerry at CMHC for a number of years. Such a wonderful man and a great supervisor. One of my most vivid memories is travelling with Jerry and Thea Baltzer to Parrsboro on business. Jerry drove and I was in the back seat with a good view of the speedometer. He was a great driver but we travelled a bit fast on a very windy road and he kept turning around to chat with me in the back seat. Thea and I laugh about that to this day. Jerry was a very kind man, a man of strong faith and a man with deep love for his family. I wish all of his family peace at this time and comfort knowing how many lives Jerry touched with his infectious smile and his kindness. Take care. Debbie Sproul

What an absolutely lovely human Jerry was. I have fond memories of his visits when he would come pick up Janice from work at Brooks Travel. Always cheerful, helpful and a heart filled with amazing kindness well beyond his size. He had an amazing gift to make everyone around him feel special and worthy of their place in the world. He absolutely adored his family and the love of his life, never taking any day for granted as Janice’s husband or Ryan’s Dad. While I didn’t see him as a grandparent I can only imagine how magical he was in that role. Our sincere condolences, Kim and Stephen Haughn
