Dolly and Family, Have just heard of Wendell's passing today via Facebook message from Mike Mullen. I'm so very sad to hear this news. I recall fondly the many adventures we had together growing up on GM. I have always tried to remember to send Birthday wishes through Facebook over the years remembering he was always the first of us in the Class of '69 to celebrate his next Birthday. My sincere condolences to you and the Family. Take good care!

Oh, Dolly, it was with a sense of shock and sadness I learned of Wendell’s passing upon reading today’s Telegraph-Journal. Had no idea he had health issues. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the extended family. It is at these times our thoughts go back to those special moments of our growing-up years. Dolly and family, I send you my deepest condolences on the loss of your dear husband and father. I worked with Wendell for many years at NS Power in the Generation Planning group. He was a valued co-worker, encouraging mentor and wonderful friend. He was a quiet gentleman who will always be remembered for his kind words and sincere personality. Dolly, I am so sadden to her that Wendell has passed away so young. We worked together at NS Power System Planning for so many years. So many of our conversations included mentions of you, he was so proud of his family. Wendell was quite, smart, and dedicated to doing the right thing in his job. After the System Planning group was split up in 1997, and I went to System Operations and Wendell went to the Emera team, we continued to work together. Now Wendell joins his fellow System Planners in heaven, Dick Brown and Richard Penny.
