It is with much sorrow that I just read the news of Charlie's passing and I would like to pass along my condolances to Gail and the Farrell family. Charlie and I were good friends in our school days, and after many years of being away, I returned and met up with him. We would meet periodically in town, at the Legion dances or chase the ace. But the most important thing about him that I don't think you would recall is that Charlie was the best man at my wedding on 31 Aug. 1968. We remained friends until now. I was not aware of his being ill. Once again, please know that he is in my prayers and thoughts and my condolances go out to all of you, his family. Sincerely, Wayne McBride, Glace Bay
