I have many fond memories of growing up with my dear cousin Andrea and reconnecting as adults. She was a beautiful person. Sincerest condolences to Christine, Philip, Aaron, Angus, and her extended family and friends.

Andrea faced all of her life as she faced her foe, intelligently, with courage, determination and creativity.I first met her as a chaplain in the Veterans wing of the QEll Hospital. She used her artistic skills to reach out in caring ways to the elderly. Andrea was an able preacher conveying the most difficult topics articulately and with grace. She pursued her calling with fierce determination, assisting and encouraging countless people in spite of illness. Our sincerest sympathy to Chris, Phil, Aaron and Angus.

That smile! Andrea was my colleague at the Infirmary where we were both chaplains. Wise and funny, brimming with intelligence and interest in the world, I give thanks for her life. We are better for her time with us here.

I first met Andrea at Mount Saint Vincent. We were in a seminar together - she was perhaps the youngest and I was one of the oldest in the group. As a mature student, I got tremendous enjoyment being with the young students and Andrea and I kept in touch for some time. I last saw her when she was teaching yoga. I am saddened that such a bright light has been taken from this world. My condolences to all the family. Sharon MacDonald

My darling friend Andrea touched my life as she did so many others. Her kindness, compassion and accomplishments made her the unique and wonderful woman I was blessed to know. We worked together in London, Ontario and in time formed a bond that even her passing cannot break. Andrea's smile, laughter and curiosity about the world and the people in it are what will forever stay with me. Sending heartfelt condolences to Andrea's family. Please know she will never be forgotten. I take comfort in knowing she is now with the God she loved so much and served so well.

Chris, Phil and families. We are so very saddened by your loss. We know words are futile but we speak them anyway with hopes of easing some of the heartache. We lived in SWC for a two-year period back in 79-80 and remember with fondness visits from Andrea and her loving interactions with our new baby Kate.
