Obituary of Darlene Marie Hiltz

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Marie Hiltz on October 14, 2021. Darlene was born on May 14, 1956 to the late, Lawson and Rose Marie Hiltz. She is survived by her loving husband, Reginald Westlake; stepchildren, Susan, and RJ Westlake; grandchildren, Devon, Amber, and Justin Taft; brothers, Gary, Michael, and Randy; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and daughter, Lori Lynn. Darlene enjoyed working at Portage Mutual and Economical insurance with her coworkers. She also enjoyed music and friends at Clay West. A special thank you to my children and grandchildren for their love and support, especially Susan and Amber. Also thanks to Chris Geddes at portage mutual, Josh Crawford at T.J. Tracey, and special thanks to Michael Hiltz for all the help and support. Arrangements and cremation have taken place under the direction of T. J. Tracey cremation and burial specialist, Halifax. A celebration of life to take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, or charity of choice. Darl as you know, you weren’t my first love as I was not yours, but you are and always will be my last. On October 14, 2021, my world seemed to end. You were taken away but why I cannot comprehend.
