I just stumbled upon Krista's story on CTV you tube. I am so sorry for the loss of Krista to this world, her family, and especially to her two little girls. I will pray for those two sweet girls. Never give up speaking about Krista to them. May God rest her soul and give her peace. God bless her two daughters and their family life. May they always know how much their mom loved them.

My deep condolences to all of Krista’s family – I only found out about her passing this week. I was moved by her story, her struggles and her great courage. I had prayers said for her in many quarters. Life can be so cruel and difficult to understand. I am a lucky person to have been a small part of Krista’s life. She amused me with her “rants” about fellow staff members. She amazed me with her passion for her family. She did not surprise me to see her find her “calling” in being a mother. I remember her telling me that she had met someone…and that he was “the one”! Dustin…she was right! Krista was so very lucky to have a family that was there when she needed them. Thanks Darlene for all the messages. She was a student with whom I had the joy to welcome into my class…even on the days, she just “barged” in. She was feisty and that is what I loved the most about her. I was lucky to have continued with her friendship after she graduated. It meant the world to me! To all of you…HUGS!

From the moment I met her I loved her. She was outspoken, with a fiery spirit. I watched her grow from a child thru the teen years and into a young woman heading West to make a life. We always kept in touch and it amazed me what an old soul she was. It was with deep respect for Darlene that this child became the strong willed woman, loving mother and wife. She fought hard for time with those she loved and cherished. I’m honored and proud to have been a small part of her life and will miss her dearly.
