Reading the obituary of 'Bud' brings back many memories to me. In 1964 I began to work at Moir's Bakery Division where Ken Clattenburg was my first and only sales supervisor. My first sales route included Gottingen St, where I first met Bud on his Coca-Cola route. We became acquainted firstly because of Ken and secondly the curiosity of both Bud and myself. In 1968 I became a supervisor, probably at a recommendation of Ken, that caused me to move further about the area where I discovered Bud as a sales rep at retail where we always engaged in a conversation when we met up. I married in 1964, the first TV we owned I bought from Harold Sr.at his home on Duncan St, for $50.00, it took two of us to carry the thing, but it worked. I do remember when he decided to leave Coke and knew of his wood working skills. This morning I called my brother-in-law who lived on Union St; for years, later sold and moved to the cottage at Pigott Lake to touch base and remind him of this obituary. So again, many memories as I send my sincere sympathy to the family. Time moves on.
