Robert E. Simmons, age 80 of Halifax passed away on July 8th, 2021, at home.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, he was the son of Walter and Lucy Simmons.
Robert was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy, Painters and Allied Trades Union, as well as C.U.P.E Union member.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Mary (Pope) of 57 years and their son, Shawn (Patty); daughter, Denise. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Larry; sisters, Helen, and Phyllis.
Robert, fondly known as "Solly".
Gone but not forgotten.
