Bill & Family,
I saw Theresa's glowing picture as I brushed past an open paper at my parents house this weekend. I stopped and recognized her, and then the great man and family she had left behind. I had the pleasure of working under Bill at Unisys for many years. I imagine the 46 years together between those two was a hoot! I'm so sorry to see she's moved on.
I light a candle almost nightly for an important loved one of my own, so tonight I'll share that moment of peace and calm while lighting the candle between them and Theresa. Here's to Theresa.

Bill, David and Matthew:
I know I don’t have to send condolences to let you know how I feel right now.
Theresa was there for me my entire life. We share enough memories to fill a book.
Growing up in Bay du Nord , our move to Bishop’s and our years at St. Catherine’s High.
Vacationing in PEI, trips to Florida and Ontario, not to mention our numerous trips to Halifax.
We certainly can’t forget Carbonear and Bay Roberts, as well as St. John’s. The canasta games that went on till dawn and most recently, Wahoo.
The cancelled flights and diversions to PEI. Yes I certainly could go on forever.
I will miss her daily phone calls, (sometimes 4 or 5 a day), and our constant walks down memory lane. The times she didn’t even say anything, but would just share a song over the phone that had special meaning to us both.
You have been my constant Theresa and now you are leaving me with a broken heart. Hopefully time and fond memories will help us all through this difficult time.
You will be missed more than you could possibly have imagined.
Your “Baby Sister” (and Gord) love you.

Bill, I didn't know Theresa but know she must have been a very special lady for you to have chosen her as your life partner.
To borrow words from another: Whatever soothes your spirit, comforts your soul and brings you peace...that's what you're wished at this time.

Bill,Matthew and David. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time, may fond and loving memories help you through the rough days ahead. We loved our visits to Bedford,Theresa would call us a dozen times to see if we had our tickets booked to cross over to North Sydney on the ferry, when we did reach the house the first thing was to get a game of cards on the go.She loved her cards but more so she loved her family and how well the boys were doing,we will surely miss those visits but I am sure mom and dad were there to meet you at heavens gate.Fly high with the angels Theresa until we meet again ,Love you!

Hi Bill:
I can’t even imagine the pain and loss you are experiencing with the passing of your wife and best friend, Theresa.
She and I also were friends for as long as you two were, even though we lost contact for many years. The frequent phone calls, though, over the last few years reminiscing good times and old memories, and having a few laughs will always be a source of comfort to me.
She will definitely be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know her.
My deepest sympathy to you, Matthew and David.
Agnes & Junior.

Dear Bill and Family,
Paul and I are so very sorry for the loss of the sweetest, kindest person, Theresa, and there wasn’t a time that we met her that she didn’t only talk about her precious boys, Matthew and David, but also on occasion would show us pictures of them as well; so very proud of them. She loved her family and siblings and her quick wit and humour said it all. We loved having coffee; playing cards; sharing a special occasion meal with her, Bill, and dear friends.
Theresa, a Lady of great Faith, we will miss you so much.
Love and affection, ‘till we meet again,
friends, Paul & Agnes Grundy xoxoxo

(Bill Armstrong) I wanted to share about the time my best friend Jamie White split my bottom lip open with a high stick and broke one of my front teeth playing hockey. Aunt Theresa had come home for Christmas. When she seen the state I was in, she grabbed ahold of my face and mauled me over to check out the damage (being that she was a dental hygienist). All the while she lectured me on the importance of a mouthguard! That memory always pops up and makes me smile.
Our condolences to the rest of Aunt Theresa’s family and friends. Bill, Cole and Michelle
