My older brother Greg taught me many things. How to ride a bike, sail a boat and of course, he got me the 'Norton'. He was always working on something in the garage, and many summer nights I fell asleep to the sound of the wind gage he carved and made out of an old bicycle hub on the garage roof. He was a great older brother, father and grandfather!

Ross and Cheryl(Dicks)Lewis, sending our sincerest condolences to the entire family. Greg was absolutely one of the sweetest guy we knew. We knew him for a long time through my Mom and Dad, Stan and Judy Dicks. Greg enjoyed racing and we had lots of chats at the racetracks over the years mostly when Ross was racing. He was always a true gentleman and loved popping by S&T Rentals/Stan Dicks Contracting just for a little chat. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him but we were always thinking about him it’s funny how Mom and I were just saying last month that we haven’t heard from him in a while. He always spoke so highly of his family it was beautiful to hear. We all respected him so much he was a great guy❤️ Lots of love is being sent your way and God Bless❤️❤️

We are so very shocked and sad to hear of Greg’s passing. He was a fine man, a wonderful friend and great lawyer . We shared a lot of memories sitting in the office during one of his many visits to Sydney. He was a true family man and always spoke highly of Linda, his children and grandchildren. We trust the many happy memories you all have had will carry you through this terribly sad time. Our thoughts are with you. Stan & Judy Dicks and family from Sydney.

I knew Greg from his law practice in Hawkesbury when I was a police officer reviewing files going to court. Often times we spoke on the phone and were able to clear up issues that helped both his clients and ourselves, as well as clearing up court time. Greg was always fair and good natured. I enjoyed talking to him on the phone and when I’d see him around town. He was a fine man. I extend my condolences to his family.

We send sincere condolences to Greg's family. We were friends of Greg's for many years. He had a wonderful personality and a strong sense of moral justice. The last time we talked he told us of his impending dementia and that he was dealing with it in his usual practical matter-of-fact way. He will be missed by all who knew him. You can take comfort in knowing that he made a very positive impact on the society in which he lived and worked.
Sincerely, Doug and Eva

To Greg’s Family, Children, & Grandchildren:
It was with great sadness we read about Greg’s passing; it was just a few days ago that we spoke so fondly of Greg and wondered how he was doing. Growing up in Sydney Forks l shall always remember Greg and our Dad having many conversations; they shared a common interest with Greg being in law school and our Dad in Family Court. Having met him up with him later in life he became a friend to myself and my husband. I admired his kind and genuine personality and his eagerness to help people....a great lawyer but a better friend. We always enjoyed good conversation and of course lotsa laughs over a cup of tea and a sweet or two. Our deepest condolences to you all. You had a great brother, father, grandfather. Cherish his memory in your heart ....Rest in Peace Greg....you certainly earned !

Dear Paul, Connie and Melinda
Oh behalf of my family, please accept my condolences to you and the extended family. Losing the last parent is a difficult thing. No matter how prepared, it shocks us in ways we never expect. But let this be a positive indication of your love for him and his love for you. He will never leave your hearts. And I think that is a good thing.
I grew up in a time when almost everyone was struggling. Yes I'm that old. As a result many families let their kids spend time, especially summers with relatives. I was fortunate enough to have gone to Sydney Forks where I got to know your dad very well. We spent a lot of time testing your grandmother's patience. We were friends ever since. Over the years we managed to get together as often as possible, and renew our past. Laughing just like when we were younger.
The pandemic has brushed its misery over many. It is sad that it restricted how most would be there for Greg. He had a very strong and loving family.
His passing is going to leave a wound in the lives of many. You're going to be missed my friend.
God bless everyone.

Paul, Connie and Melinda,
I am saddened to learn of your Dad's passing. He always had a wave and a friendly greeting anytime I ever met him, whether that was walking by on my way to the Rankin's store, arriving to babysit you, or in later years at the grocery store when visiting Port Hawkesbury. The Camerons are fortunate to have had your family as neighbors.
Please know you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
