Sending sincere condolences. I would like to share a story, I was privileged to have nurse Sadie as my nurse when I was a patient at Guysborough Memorial Hospital at the age of 11. To test glucose levels it required a urine sample, I followed Sadie around each morning dropping the tablets into the samples and watching for the colour change. Years later when I became an RN I always remembered her kindness and do believe she helped me find my way to nursing. I am still a nurse in my 38th year of practice. Sadie followed my career and always asked about me to my mother, retelling the story of our early morning testing. Leona Purcell RN

What a sweet tribute to a sweet lady. Sadie was indeed a special person. Funny, kind, personable, and welcoming. One always knew she was so very proud of her family, her children, her husband, and simply a genuinely kind soul. We were blessed to have been welcomed into The Jamieson fold. I am sending you all my deepest condolences...Sadie was a lovely lady and I have only fond memories of her...All-ways had a smile and a hug for me where ever we met...I remember many years ago going into the bowling alley in Guysborough and she was just leaving but she took the time to have a chat before she left...she made time for everyone....sending you all hugs....
