I just found out that Gerry had passed. She was in our singing group The Quarter- Note Singers for many years until she had to leave for health reasons. She was always cheerful and upbeat, Music was a big part of her life. We kept in touch by phone and I will really miss her.

Mrs. Atton was one of the few people who I really looked up to when I was a youngster. She was always there when anyone needed a hand or just simply there to listen. She was the life of a full room of family or friends whenever there were get-together, always playing little tricks on us or telling jokes, with her impish grin. Although I hadn’t seen her for many years, she was never ever far from my thoughts and heart. Gonna miss you, Ma Atton.

Jerry was a very loving kind lady! Always upbeat and friendly. When I was having family problems at home as a teenager she welcomed me into her home and treated me as one of the family, that was precious!. She was even our Boy Scout leader. She was a blessing in my life!
