A beautiful lady that I met when I was a very young child when my aunt Faye used to go in to have her hair done and would visit zalina at her apartment. Faye (Miller-Porrior) and I pass on our condolences to the family .

Sending our love and sympathies. Zalina was so good to me and to my family. I could count on her for an honest opinion, a caring ear, and genuine concern. I will remember Zalina with great fondness for her generous heart, her love of all things dog, and how she felt like part of our family. I trust she and Shirley and Dad, among others gone before her, are having a rollicking good reunion, however that takes shape amid the cosmos. We'll miss you here. Love, "Paula Louise" and family

Zalina, like a beloved aunt, has been a member of our family for five decades, first for Terry and his parents, and then me, and finally for our boys. A coach, confidant, advisor, encourager and commentator, we could count on Zalina to be there, candid and practical, for all the important (and mundane) times in our lives, and always with the offer of a cup of tea and something to eat. We feel this loss deeply with you, Brian.

Zalina was my hair stylist for 54 yes.along with members of my family along the way. She was much more than our stylist, a true and compassionate friend who shared all our happy and sad times. Zalina wasn't just my hairdresser, she was my friend for over 13 years. Maybe she was this way with everyone, but she had a way of making me feel like I was special to her. We shared so many laughs - and tears too as things happened to us in life or we shared memories. I spent many an enjoyable hour in Zalina's chair. She was always wanting to feed me and take care of me. I'll miss her so much. Brian and family - so very sorry for your loss. Angie Davidson

Zalina was our family’s hairstylist since the children were very small. She has coloured my daughter’s hair blond, red and purple. She did graduation hairstyling and was even there for our first Covid cuts. She has been so much more than our stylist; a trusted member of our family. Always sunny, kind and compassionate.
