It was with great regret that I learned of Marcel's passing. I got to know Marcel over many years, first, through his work as a commissionaire at the Fortress of Louisbourg and later as a member of the Parish of the Resurrection Men's Club. He was a great asset to both. We always had great conversations and I particularly enjoyed his quiet sense of humour. His devotion to Florence was obvious to everyone and he will be missed.

Marcel was a very kind an loving and who with florence treated me like on of their own kids. Marcel taught me kindness, and showed me what that kindness did to reach others through all the lives he and florence changed by one simple act at a time. Thank you florence an marcel for rasing me righr as a child and to be a better person today because of it. Rest In Peace Marcel, you will never be forgotten. My condolences to you florence and your family. Sorry for your loss.
