I remember my teenage years in Fairview playing hockey and Mrs. Simpson was my coach, she was a lovely lady. Sorry to hear of her passing. She would be happy to know that several of us still do play hockey including myself

Dear Simpson Family, Myself, Mom and Dad are sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a wonderful lady who will be remembered by many gals my age as a pioneer of girls hockey. I have often spread the story of those 4 coaches and assistant coaches ,who gave up their time to develop a sport that I and many others that came out of Fairview and area still enjoy to this day. My condolences to the family of Sheila or Mrs. Simpson as I will always remember her. To me Mrs Simpson Was a warm, kind person In the neighborhood who also knew how to get her point across . Her work in building the co op is a testament to her confidence and strength.
