Its been just over two years now and i still think of you every day Barbie. I still can’t believe that you’re gone, feels like just yesterday we were sitting in the basement, two in the morning at the table singing songs, drinkin, smokin and laughin, i’m a horrible singer but you always told me i wasn’t to bad. You were like a mother to me, hell you were the only woman other than my mom that i ever called mom. I miss you like crazy Barb but i know you’re up there lookin down on all of us.

I am saddened to hear of Barb's passing. When I was younger and working at the Irving on the Prospect Rd I could count on a regular visit from Barb for her lottery tickets. She would hang out for a bit and chat with us there and was ALWAYS in such a cheerful way. I truly enjoyed seeing her walk through the doors. I recall she once brought me a lucky rabbit's foot, as I was job hunting. Well, we tapped it on her BreakOpen ticket before she opened it and she won $50. We laughed ourselves silly! A few days later I was successful at landing a new job. I thanked her for the luck and she was just so happy for me. She is honestly the only customer I remember from those days, which means she left a lasting mark with me. I send my deepest condolences to her family and hope that all of your memories of her help you through these challenging days ahead.
Angela

I'm deeply saddened by the passing of our beautiful Barbie, Barbie put so many smiles on everyone's face that she met. She was a caring loving wife, mother and a dear friend. She certainly had a heart of gold and could light up any room with her presence. I will miss her dearly and treasure all the wonderful memories that she gave me over the years. Rest easy our beautiful Angel.
Love Kevin and Jeannie Innocent

We are very, very sorry to hear about the passing of Barb. She was a very special, very kind and caring person. She could light up any room with her quick wit and bubbly laughter. Barb was always there for her friends and was a big part of our family! We will miss you Barb. We send our sincerest condolences to her Loving family. From Andrew, Joanne, Mitchell, Harrison and Hannah. I wanted to include this poem to remind us that we will meet Barb again and this is just an interlude! We love you Barb!!!
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Nothing has happened.
Everything remains exactly as it was.
I am I, and you are you,
and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolute and unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just round the corner.
All is well.
Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!
