Obituary of Derrick Aaron Carvery

Derrick Aaron Carvery, age 37 of Halifax. It was a bright, sunny Sunday while Derrick was listening to the sounds of Michael Jackson, whom he loved that he journeyed off to be with his Heavenly Father. Derrick passed away peacefully at Northwood Centre surrounded by love and genuine care. He leaves behind his Mom & Dad, Linda, and Nelson Carvery; grandmother, Margaret Gordon; brother, Nelson Jr.; sisters, Leslie Carvery, Montreal, Tina Carvery, Florida, Cynthia Jordan and foster Sister, Bessie Jackson; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his grandparents; Aaron (Pa) Carvery, Elizabeth Carvery, Reta Skinner and Arthur Gordon. We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation for the love and care Derrick received at the Arborstone Enhanced Care Home and most recently the exceptional care he received from the staff, volunteers, and residents at Northwood Centre.
