Dear Ann
I’m really saddened to hear of John’s passing. The many childhood summers I spent at Queensland, in the “Eel Pot”, have remained a treasured memory – thank you. Also, thank you for coming to both Mom’s and Dad’s visitations – it meant a lot to me. Personal commitments prevented me from being with you yesterday and Sunday, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family, always. With much love and sympathy. Brenda (Morgan) Wallace

Dear Sharron, Andrew, Scott and families:
Brian and I are thinking of you all today as you celebrate John’s life. Sharron and John’s generosity to our family over many years is a gift we still cherish. John was truly the best boss a person could have . He showed me that you need to work hard, ensure a healthy life/work balance and have fun! And fun we did have. I would look forward to sharing my morning coffee everyday with John and to laugh about the things happening in our lives or those around us. I was on my way to see John in the hospital the day he passed as I wanted to see him before leaving on vacation. We are sorry to miss today and the celebration of his life. A very deep loss to your family and we send our sincere condolences and love.
Warm Hugs Catherine and Brian

Dear Sharron and Family;
I was shocked to hear of John’s passing.
I remember the good old days as we were growing up in grade school, junior high and high school.
Will always remember the CCC Club, which John and I plus a few good friends were chartered members of.
We had great times together.
As John said in his letter to me when my wife, Sandra, passed away in February this year it was unfortunate that we did not spend more time in our later years getting to know each others families.
My deepest condolences to you Sharron and the kids.

Dear Sharron, Andrew and Scott and Ann,
Jim and I send you our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of John. We have fond memories of his delightful nature. As a young girl, I remember John coming to the Greenham family home as he was a good friend of my dear brother, Terry. Jim knew John through Terry, and Colwell Brothers. We will always remember the happy years of John and Sharron Colwell and all their adventures.
May John rest in peace and his good spirit give you comfort. x Sue & Jim Gould

Sharon: Saddened to hear of John’s passing. He was a fine guy that I have known since high school (when I knew you too). John was always pleased to see me in our later lives (his business interests) and continued to be the pleasant person I knew in high school & University. Sorry for your loss.

Dear Colwell family,
I was so saddened to hear this news. While has been many years since I have seen him (or any of you!), there were so many years when that was not the case. Those years on Bayview Rd. are so full of memories – many I share with my children today! The ones I remember the most are when you built the deck out back and we dug holes for it and the relay races when we would all compete in your backyard hoping not to upset the next door neighbors too much! Later, I remember going into the store and seeing him – it always felt so special to be recognized!
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
With sympathy, friendship and hugs from across the miles,
Michelle Sapp

To Sharon and all family
Was saddened to read of your loss.
My memories go back a “number” of years when my
boys (both diabetic) were very young. I worked with
you at times on fundraising as well as attended meetings
in your home.
May God be near each one at this difficult time.

Sharron and family, our condolences on John’s passing. We have not seen each other for many years, as happens with childhood friends. You have to think back all the way to Almon St. My prayers are with you all. Lynne (McKay) Church and my brothers, David and Arthur.
