It’s hard not to smile when thinking about Roy. He was such a great guy, easy going and always had funny stories to share. Lots of patience especially when he showed me how to properly do some body work on my car. Roy was a loving and caring son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Even though he is now with our Lord, he will always be with me in my heart. You are loved Roy always and forever...Sharon

To Roy's family our deepest sympathy. Roy and I knew each other since we were small boys. He must have been a wonderful father because even as young boys he always spoke with wisdom. If you wanted a kite that flew, Roy would have to make it. As we aged the only time we'd meet would be at someone's wake or at the drugstore.. But Roy was always the same, good humor ,talks about the old days at the Sterling ball games etc. Rest in peace my friend.--- Mary and Joe Matheson

Roy will be missed greatly!! He was a great person and very kind hearted!! I remember him from hanging out with his daughter Linda-Lee than when I started going down just to visit everyone! Always seen him and his beautiful smile ! For Years He would be up the country Lincolnville to visit or attend a funeral!! My condolences go out to you all !! He was loved by so many people!! So very sorry for your loss.As a miner he was one who took the time to teach the younger miners(like me) how to get the job done in the safest way possible.As a man he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
