Obituary of Shirley Marion Warnell

WARNELL (Fullick), Shirley Marion- Age 90 of Halifax passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 21st, 2020 at Northwood Care Centre. She was born in Head of Saint Margaret’s Bay, NS. Shirley had a career as a mental health nurse at the Nova Scotia Hospital and a head charge nurse at Northwood until her retirement. She loved cats, baking, reading, laying in the sun and listening to music. Her favorite song was “Tiny Bubbles” by Don Ho. She was a wonderful, loving caring person with a great sense of humor. She is survived by her sons, Michael Crowell, Bruce Crowell, and Glenn Raymond Anderson; daughter, Kim Leanne Anderson Fancy; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Dennis Warnell. A diagnosis of Dementia over 20 years ago did not stop her, the family would like to wish their gratitude to the hospital staff at Northwood 8th Centre for their care and kindness. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.
