I was sad to hear of my friend passing. He will be greatly missed. I used to work with Hugh doing plumbing. He was very kind to me and always willing to give a helping hand. I wish his wife Diane and his family the deepest of sympathy at this time. I have a hope that I will get to see him again in the resurrection. Sleep well my buddy. David Hunt and family.

My wife and I met Mr. MacInnis through his employment; but during that short time he was always a gentleman, professional, friendly and caring. We will miss his style, his warm smile and the human quality he brought to his profession. Everyone we referred him to, felt the same way. My wife referred to him," as a dear dear man". My heart felt condolences to Hughie's family. I only knew Hughie for a few years but can say for sure that he was one of the good guys. A good listener and always thinking to help others. I haven't seen him in the last little while; and when I found out about his condition very recently, I have been thinking of him a lot! Again my thoughts and prayers go to his family. Don Warner

To Hughie's family I pass along my sincerest condolences. I was one of the parents that had the privilege of getting to know Hughie because of Robyn's hockey at Dalhousie. My late wife, Veronica, and myself took in almost all of the home games and we always looked forward to seeing Hughie at the games where we shared a few minutes and stories with him on a regular basis. We knew just how much he enjoyed being there and he was so very proud of Robyn and her teammates. With one's passing come difficult days but as you gather, celebrate his life and cherish the memories you all have as a family. Peace be with all of you. Sincerely, Doug McMillan
