I Met Evelyn about 20 years ago or so, when she and Reg lived next door. They were always having fun with us, despite my being 20 and my brother 17. You could never say anything less then amazing things about them.
When Reg left for heaven, we tried to think of what to do for Evelyn. But she was still trying to joke and laugh with us, despite what happened. She showed us incredible resilience and determination, and her unwavering ability to keep together whenever we were around.
Despite our getting older and moving out and getting married it was imperative to remain friends with Evelyn. She showed us so much, and even to my wife Tiffany she showed us her incredible sewing skills by helping us with our curtains. We always invited her to our parties and of course she came. She wouldn’t have it any other way.
She is back with Reg now and I guarantee that they are dancing hard, laughing, Evelyn sewing, Reg fixing the lawnmower. Either way the smiles are pouring over us and we miss her dearly.
