To Karen’s family I was saddened to read of Karen’s passing I met Karen when I worked as an RN at the Guest home when her mom was a resident ,It was always a pleasure to see Kevin & Karen when they came to visit We kept in contact for some time and I always enjoyed hearing from her She was a lovely person and I treasure the friendship we shared RIP dear Karen With deepest sympathy. My heart is heavy! Everyone has that one teacher that touched their heart; that spoke to them and made a difference in their life. For me... that was Mrs. Karen Fidgen. She was my grade 2 and 3 teacher at Penhorn Elementary school. Rest easy Mrs. Fidgen. It’s been 30+ years since I’ve seen you but I never forgot about you. Sending love to her family and friends. Holy Redeemer Girl's School, 1963......my Primary teacher. So kind. I remember her and have thought of her often over the years as a magical person in my development.
