Obituary of Lillian Marie Morris

Please share a memory of Lillian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lillian Marie Morris, age 79 of Halifax, passed away November 29, 2019 peacefully, surrounded with love.

Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late Sophie and Damien Aucoin.

She is survived by her three daughters: Cindy (Jack) Oliver; Michelle Morris; and Christine (Jason) Morris; sisters: Lorraine Sampson and Rose Gorman; her special Danielle and much loved grand-daughter, Jaclyn Oliver.

Beside her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Frank.

Lillian made everyone feel special. Her bright personality and love of people led her to form very close personal bonds. As “babysitter extraordinaire” and hockey billet-parent, Lillian served as surrogate mother / grand-mother to many people. You could usually find her playing cards, yelling “bingo”, baking or taking long drives with her beloved Frank. In her younger years, Lillian was an avid bowler and loved a good dance. Lillian will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

A Memorial Reception will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019, 1-4 pm in T.J. Tracey Funeral Home, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Bayers Lake (902) 835-4212. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Palliative Care Unit. https://qe2foundation.ca/find/keyword/palliative-care
