Jannette Marie Corbin (Urquhart)

1946- 2019 It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  Jannette passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 26 at home surrounded by her family.

Jannette was born in Halifax and was the daughter of the late Elwood and Doreen (Myatt) Urquhart.  Jannette will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Philip; sons Dwain (Donna) and Derek; and daughter Natasha (Jamie).  She will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Rebecca (Alex), Cameron, Alexandra, Theran; sister Diane Durnford and sister in-law Ann Urquhart.  She was predeceased by brothers Gary Urquhart and Kenny Urquhart.

Jannette treasured her children and especially loved being with her grandchildren.    She enjoyed a full life with her husband and together enjoyed travelling and being in the company of their friends in Nova Scotia and Florida.  Jannette loved entertaining and was the most gracious hostess.  She had a way of making everything just a little bit more special.  Jannette always welcomed everyone with a smile and warmth that was comforting to all that knew her.

Jannette will be dearly missed and always in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 29 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 954 Old Sackville Road.

Interment will take place in Oakridge Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
