Obituary of Shirley Boutilier

Shirley Boutilier

 Glace Bay
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Shirley, age 70 on November  22,2019 surrounded by her family.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Kay Boutilier and her chosen parents, Walter and Mary Clements.
Mom was employed at the Town Day Care for 20+ years where she felt lucky to get paid to do what she loved, feed people. Mom was first and foremost a dedicated, loving mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful kind woman who never had a bad word to say about anyone and cherished every moment spent with loved ones especially her 11 grandchildren. When Mom wasn’t in a Bingo hall she enjoyed cards, darts, bowling crafting and many other things where she managed to always spread love and kindness to everyone around her.
Shirley is survived by the love of her life and best friend, Bobby Boutilier; her children, Mary(John Glen) MacAulay, Jackie(Bob)Abbott, Chrissy, Cheryl(Jim Holloway), Bobby Jr. She was Nanny to Bree,Jeff, Greg, Sam, Kiana, Brin, Brandi, Beth, Nathan, Brooke and Jamie;  siblings Joey, Marlene, Shirley, Doris, Bart, Cathy, Charlene, Tim, Paula and special sister-in-law Genie. Shirley was predeceased by her  brothers Bobby, Sonny, Eddie, Dougie, and Archie and son-in-law Chickie Boutilier whom she adored.
