Diane Marie Bennett, age 74 of Halifax, passed away November 10th, 2019, at Northwood Manor.

Born in Windsor, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Chisholm) Lake.

Diane worked in the insurance and legal profession for over 50 years.

She is survived by husband John F Bennett of 51 years; brothers Bob Lake (Joan) of Sarnia, Ont., and Greg Lake (Valerie) of Windsor, NS.; sisters Debbie Doyle (Brian), and Bonnie Strong (Randy) both of South Alton, NS.

Beside her parents, Diane was predeceased by brother Bill (Donna) Lake of Langley, BC.

There will be no visitation by request.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Benedict Parish, 45 Radcliffe Drive, Halifax,  on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 at 10.30 am.
