Obituary of Yvonne Marie Hawboldt

It is with sadness that the family of Yvonne Marie Hawboldt, age 78 of Halifax, announce her sudden passing on September 18th, 2018 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. Born in St Louis de Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fidele and Lauza (Thibodeau) LeBlanc. Beside her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by husband of 30 years, Cecil Coolen; her first husband Rod Hawboldt; brother Robert; and grandson Vince in infancy. She will be lovingly remembered by sons Goliath and Matthew; daughter Venus; brothers Benoit Alphonse, and Urbain; sisters Camille, Merelda, Lucienne, and Merilda; and grandchildren Phoebe, Eli, and Jordan. Yvonne loved being with her friends and working in her garden. Mom always brought fun and joy wherever she went. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. (902-835-4212) As per the family wishes, no service will be held, and interment will take place on Sunday, October 21st at 1 pm in the Musquodoboit Harbour Community Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gail, Karen, and Weldon who came to visit Mom in her final hours. From Venus: Momma, I miss you; Come back every September.
