It is with sadness the family of Jean-Claude LeBlanc, age 55 of Lucasville NS, announce his passing on Sunday, October 6th, 2019 at the QEII VG Site.
Jean-Claude had the worlds biggest heart, and an even bigger smile. He will forever be remembered, and always missed.
Born in Moncton NB, he was a son of Rene and Loretta (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
Jean-Claude played with the Sackville Masters from 2001-2015 & Besa FC from 2015-2018; he also played with the Gamecocks Hockey Team.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Vessey) LeBlanc of 27 years (together 37); daughter Chanda LeBlanc; brothers Michel (Lisa), and Serge; sisters Gisele (John) Williston, Monique (Raymond) Richard, and Leonie (Paul Bourque) LeBlanc; grandchildren Aiden and Lucas Cameron; nephews and nieces Mario, Marc Richard, Julie Williston, Mathieu LeBlanc, Justin Daigle, Dwayne Vessey, and Robyn Paul; mother-in-law Shirley Vessey Johnson (Jack Lewis); brothers-in-law Kevin Eaton and Brian Vessey; sisters-in-law Kim (Vessey) Eaton, and Barb (Bennett) Vessey, as well as many dear friends.
He was predeceased by brother Marcel in 1981.
A Gathering will be held on Friday, October 11th, from 3-8 pm in the Wallace Lucas Community Centre, at 596 Lucasville Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean-Claude’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the 11th floor of the VG for all their kind care, the Emergency Department of the HI, as well as Dr. Jennifer Melvin, Dr. Aliter, and Dr. Andrea MacDonald for all your kind care.
