Carol Ann McIntyre

It is with saddened hearts that we the family announce the passing of Carol Ann McIntyre on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Glace Bay Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Cleophas (Curry) Stewart.

Carol was a loving wife, mother of four children and grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren, sister, aunt and friend.

Carol was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She enjoyed making crafts, gardening, painting and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Bernie; her children, Kelly (Nancy), Adelle, Robbie(Yvonne); her grandchildren, Kenneth (Riley), Meghan,  Nolan, Marley and Jarrett; sister, Connie Curry; brothers Frank (Teresa), Kenny (Cathy), and Fred; many nieces and nephews, as well as Tiger the family cat.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Brian “Buddy” ; sister, Anita and brother John.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.  Donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
