To the Family of Catherine Libbey; known to many as Mommie or Grammie:
I was so saddened to hear of your Mom's/Grandmother's passing. She was such a wonderful person. "Mommie" always made me feel like part of her family. She had a terrific sense of humour; a twinkle in her eye and a great laugh. I loved when she would visit Barbara and Mike in Tatamagouche; we had a lot of fun, especially when she taught me a new card game one Saturday night, although I think we were making up the rules as we went along. A lot of laughter was always the case during those visits. She loved her family so much and was very proud of each and everyone of you. She spoke so fondly about her daughters and all of her grandchildren and I could tell she thoroughly enjoyed their company at family gatherings. I know you must have so many fantastic memories of your Mom and Grandmother and I hope they help you through this difficult time and beyond.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I extend my most sincere condolences. I also extend condolences from my brother; he thought Mrs. Libbey was quite the lady.
Love from your friend,
Marilyn Roberts
