Obituary of Alan Gabbatt
Alan Gabbatt, age 81 of Halifax, passed away August 24th, 2019, at Maplestone Enhanced Care.
Born in Barrow-In-Furness, England, he was the son of the late Thomas Reginald and Beatrice Gabbatt.
Alan owned A&G Marine Ltd., and worked as a Marine Electrical Engineer at the Collingwood Shipyards after emigrating from England in 1966.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gail Gabbatt (Light); son Brett Gabbatt (Terri); daughter Nicole Gabbatt; grandchildren Emma, Ian, Olivia, Erik, and Brody; as well as several nieces.
