 It is with broken hearts we the family announce the sudden passing of Dale Mackie, age 56 on Aug. 19, 2019 at the Regional Hospital.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Bodechon) Mackie. Dale enjoyed following family on social media, she loved her family dearly.

Dale is survived by her daughter, Lindsey (Trevor); her precious grandsons, Lucas and Mason; siblings, Donna (Colin) Cripps, Joanne Mackie, John (Amelia) Mackie, Darlene “Honey” (Mike) Sanders, and Valerie (Elton) Martin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her partner, David Tracey, brother, Howard.

Cremation has taken place.   A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019 with Deacon Lorne MacNeil officiating at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay (902-849-4199)  A private family burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Family flowers only.
