Obituary of Bernadine Mary Pettipas

Bernadine Mary Pettipas, 66, of Hatchet Lake passed away August 12, 2019 at the Q.E. II Hospital, Halifax Infirmary Site.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia she was a daughter of the late Mary Evelyn Pettipas.

Bernadine enjoyed playing cards with all her special friends which she did for many, many years. She loved spending time with her grandsons: Rydell, Raidyn, Rylan and Riley.

Bernadine was recently predeceased by her husband of 50 + years, Raymond Hopkinson.

She is survived by daughter, Brittany Hopkinson; brother, Ronnie Pettipas; sister, Carolyn Jollimore; and her 4 grandsons, Rydell, Raidyn, Rylan and Riley; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 at 11:00 am in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 86 Sandy Cove Rd, Terence Bay, with Rev. Cheryl Rafuse officiating. Burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Reception will be held immediately following burial (approximate 1:00pm) in the Terence Bay Community Hall (also known as the Terence Bay Fire Hall), 80 Sandy Cove Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
