Obituary of Dorothy Jean Osborne
It is with sadness that the family of Dorothy “Jean” Osborne, age 84 of Halifax, announce her passing on July 17th, 2019, at the QEII.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Boudreau) MacLean.
Jean devoted her life to her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by son Darren (Kathy) Osborne; Lisa (Mark) James; and grandchildren Madison, Gabrielle, Lincoln, and Sam.
Beside her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband Charles, whom she missed dearly; sisters Shirley Kendall and Louise Bates; and brother George MacLean.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 8th, at 7:00 PM, at the James residence, 250 Glen Arbour Way, Hammonds Plains.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Thank you to all who visited in Jean’s last days, it meant the world to her.
