I have many fond memories of Frank, dating back to visiting Eszter, Frank, and Gaby in their apartment at Bathurst & Sheppard starting in 1998/1999, then later in their house in Halifax. He was such a kind and generous person and I always felt welcome in his home.
I am very sorry for your loss. Sending my condolences and love to Gaby, Eszter, Patrick, Balu, and the entire family.

Very often, when some of us were walking homeward after madrigals, Frank was a wonderful person to talk to. He had an inspiring world view, and knew many fascinating things about music and engineering.
Best wishes to Gaby, Eszter, Patrick and Baloo.

I spent many wonderful hours with Frank - since we were in the Early Music Society Thursday morning madrigals together. We didn't talk much - just sang. He was our tuning fork - since he had perfect pitch and it was sometimes easier just to ask him for the pitch. Often when we drifted flat, our director would apologize to him since he could tell! He came when he could and work allowed - almost always when Eszter was conducting. We will miss him. My love and condolences to Gabby, Eszter, Patrick and Balou. Love, Nancy

I appreciated the hospitality shown to my family when I visited in Halifax. I will always remember the Chocolates and handmade presentation box that was given to me on my birthday. Frank was a Good, Kind, Gentle man with a brilliant mind. I loved seeing him play violin with his daughter on her wedding day, and I loved watching him play with Baloo. Hugs to all.
