I am saddened to read of Ray’s death. I worked with him at Yazer Pontiac in the early 80’s. He was a fine gentleman & was always very nice to me. He was very proud of his family & often spoke highly of them all. Sorry I was away at the time of wake & funeral or I would have been there to see him off to see his beloved Eunice. RIP Ray.

Uncle Ray has always held a special place in our hearts. Always there quietly in the background, ready with a kind word or sage advice. Never to busy to take a moment out of his day just for you. Somehow just his presence made you feel safe. Uncle Ray was a man of strong character and this was most evident in his never wavering love for his family. He was a strong support to his children (Carol Anne and Donna) and treated his son-in-law John as an integral part of his close knit family. As a husband to Aunt Eunice he became a role model to us. Someone to inspire us in our own future relationships. He will remain in our hearts until we see him again!
