Obituary of Wade R. Aalders

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade R. Aalders, 57, on May 14, 2019 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the son of Victor and Betty Aalders.
Wade was a dedicated member of the community. He served in the Sackville Lions Club and was a founding member of the Beaver Bank-Kinsac Lions Club and served as King Lion three times. Wade also loved the outdoors, whether it be camping, golfing, going on ATV runs or simply enjoying time with family and friends.
Wade is survived by his wife Lillian (Peach), daughter Samantha (Nicholas) and son Allister. He is also survived by his mother Betty, sister Carolee, brothers Bruce (Cindy), Earl (Susan) and his niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Victor Aalders.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Beaver Bank-Kinsac Lions Club, 40 Sandy Lake Road in Beaver Bank. This will begin with a time of commemoration at 2 p.m. with reception to follow.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the doctors and nurses involved with Wade’s care over the past few years. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the renal dialysis unit at the Victoria General Hospital.
