I met you at an early age, you were a great person to your family and also to me. Your were there when your first grandson Robbie Todd Dickie was born. You were there for our graduation , for our wedding, for all important times and even after we seperated you were still there. I will always remember you for our phone calls and friendship. When my mother passed on you were there to walk me through the hardship days and also ended our conversations with love you. I tried writing this once before and it never came up, I don’t know if I did something wrong but regardless, I will miss you, always and forever, Marilyn

To a great mother-in-law, grandmother, friend and confident, you will be missed. I always enjoyed our phone conversations with a joke added. I met you when I was 16 or so through your son Robert. You were always so good to me and bought me nice clothing at Christmas . You put on a reception when Bobby and I got married, you were there when my first son was born. You had just got off from work when you got a call that I was in labour, you can back and stayed by my side until the birth of your first grandson was born, Robert Todd. You never judged me when Bobby and I separated but remained friends throughout the years and when my dear mother passed on , you replaced the phone calls that I couldn’t send to her, always listening and always there . God Bless you on your journey, with sincere and heartfelt love, Marilyn

How I loved this lady….my Aunt Jeanne!!! Called Doug to tell him and Aunt Jeanne that my husband Ray and I would be coming up from our home in FL to see them again this coming July….had just bought the tickets. I guess God had other plans!!!! We had the privilege of seeing them several times over the last 20 years…we have been to Halifax and they have travelled to see us in our home in Orlando. Aunt Jeanne was my favorite Aunt since I was a little girl…..I inherited her “laugh” or cackle LOL!!!!….. and she was so always so much fun to be with!!! My friends always loved her…. How she loved to read…..she told me that folks that didn’t read had no depth to their soul. We so agreed. I so adored her. She loved people with her whole heart. I will so miss our talks…… She was my father’s baby sister and he so adored her. She was a keeper and she will have the angels smiling in heaven…..

We are very saddened to learn of the death of Jeanne. She was a remarkable woman, so “with-it”, a great friend and neighbour. Her 2019 vacation to Cuba was not to be, sadly. Chris and I, until recently, across the hall from Jeanne, send our condolences to the family on her passing. Jeanne will be greatly missed by many. May she rest in peace.
