Obituary of Linda A. DeDieu

Linda Arlene (Caume) DeDieu , CNA , ORT Reserve Mines It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Arlene DeDieu on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Linda was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Parish and a member of Reserve Mines Fire Dept. Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, baking and making crafts. Linda was an OR technician graduate from Halifax Infirmary and worked as an OR technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She also graduated as a nursing assistant from New Waterford. Linda is survived by her children, Bernard DeDieu, Reserve Mines, and Cindy DeDieu Bridgeport; brother, Glenn (Lorraine) Caume Dominion; sister, Lorraine (Allan) Hillier Tanglewood; granddaughter, Morgan Kop, and grandson, Logan Colson; godchildren, Eric Leo Caume and Allan Leo Hillier, as well as nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her parents; Leo and Julie Caume; husband, Bernie DeDieu; sister, Sarah Caume; and brother, Eric Caume. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service as per Linda’s request. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Dialysis Unit, Unit 4A and Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the care given to Linda.
