Kristin and Sarah – so sorry to read this news. Our deepest condolences to you both at this time. It has been a very long time since we spent time together but we still remember meeting you and Hugh years ago in Kentville. Hi, I read about Hugh’s passing today and want to extend my prayers and condolences to Kristine, Sarah and his sisters. I always remember Hugh’s laughter from when I was a kid and we would visit Aunt Josie and uncle Hughie. You are are in my thoughts these days. Peace, Rev. Mike Walsh

I want to express my sincere condolences for Sonny’s family..It has been many years since i was a friend of his brother Dougie and sisters Dorothy and Mary Lou and his Mom and Dad.. They were so proud of Sonny and his Air Force career.. Sonny was so easy going that he didn’t even get mad at Dougie and I for taking his car and credit card to Nashville TN in 1970. When he was out to sea and smashed it up a bit.. He told Dougie that he said we could use it to go to CB on our vacation and Dougie says ” we started but took a wrong turn in Truro” . He just laughed….It was the best vacation that we ever had.

Dear Kristine and Sarah, I read about Hugh’s passing today and I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Hugh was a humble man for all his great accomplishments while serving Canada. I was glad to know you when you sojourned in Bayswater for a few years at the turn of this century. You helped keep my house gainfully occupied while I stayed in Halifax and for that I was very grateful. Again, I am sad that Hugh is no longer with you. Sincerely, Debra Paquin Webber, Chester, NS
